when i put on the new set of my rear brake pads and rotors. i torqued my caliper bolts to 80 fpt not realizing its 41 fpt and broke the bolt. it broke right on top of the caliper so its being hold quit well but i don't want to leave it there. how can i take it out? what do i need for this?

You could drill it out maybe? I'm pretty sure they make an add on kit to a drill to do that easily. Probably like $20-30 at home depot.

I did that too on my old car. What I did was use an oxy-acetylene torch and a left hand drill bit. Spun out real easy.

Which bolt did you break ? 1 of the two short ones that goes into the caliper slide pins . Or 1 of the two that holds the caliper mount bracket to the knuckle.?
