Your better off just buying a used oem header on here. I think DC makes a shorty header thats carb legal, but then youll still need the cat.
CA legal header
I bought an 04 Type S from a guy that lived in NV. He has a DC header on it and won't pass smog without putting the stock one back on. The engine is clean and the DC header is clean, stock one looks like crap, all rusty looking. Want to buy a CA legal one, can you guys give me some brands that make some good ca legal header. Thanks.

Yea DC shorty header with a cat seems to be the only legal option in CA. I have been looking myself
