I have an 03 rsx. I just had an remote start put in. I want the car to unlock when I shut off the car but the installer told me its a feature of the car that it can't do it. Is this true? It locks when I start it and I had a 98 and 01 integra that both would lock/unlock when I started and shut it off.

what brand do you have?

i have the viper 5901 and it works fine for me. did it come with two transponders? if so, does it lock and unlock with it?

It's called Silencer. I do have 2 fobs for it and it will lock/unlock with the fobs. It just won't
unlock when I turn the car off and the installer is saying its a security feature of the car itself.

never heard of that brand before. but it's whatever. never too hard to just reach for the lock/unlock button

Thanks for your kind input I know it's not hard to unlock the car myself. I had a car for 11 yrs that did unlock so I'm just use to it. I just wanted to make sure if it was/or not true that the car itself won't allow it. It didn't really make sense why not. I'll contact the company and go from there then. Thanks

I think there is problem in car remotes .
