I was browsing coparts looking for a project and saw this
568705

here's the link. Someone is either going to restore it or part it out.

Oof...Looks to be major frame damage possibly on that.
You'd probably be best off staying away from it completely unless you want the motor/tranny and whatever else you can salvage for parts
I always loved the DC2 integra. Someone is going to restore that because it's a genuine type r. As for me, I'm still getting yell at for not completing any of my other projects.
It's definitely restorable, if you care enough and have the money. There are shops that straighten frames, donor Integras for parts of the unibody to cut from if needed.

Personally, I wouldn't bother because I don't care enough about these cars over a lesser trim level. If I did want an ITR, I'd keep it stock, and since I don't care to own a stock car, I'd instead get an LS or GSR to build. I'd leave the Type R for a purist to look after.

haha you say that now but when you get a little older you'll probably want a completely stock/ low mileage dc5 regardless of trim. I find myself staring at completely stock dc5s nowadays especially those rarer colored ones like jade green metallic or redondo/firepepper red or ones with factory options like the aspec stuff.
I'm 33 and still no end in sight for my need to modify. I haven't touched the engine on my RSX (yet), but the suspension's all done up, and a major aesthetic overhaul is planned.

I'm 39 and I'm more picky about my mods now. I don't like polyurethane because of the vibrations so I go for hardrace stuff. Exhaust being loud is a no go. I hate stuff that just doesn't fit right.

Be an inspiration to all of Club RSX please lol

Oh, totally. I went back to rubber engine mounts with my '93 Accord build, and filled them with a soft 50-55A urethane to keep vibrations down while making those garbage aftermarket mounts more long-lasting. Going to Dynamat the hell out of the interior for comfort as well. Keeping A/C, Cruise, and all that. But I can't imagine ever owning a car and not personalizing it. I don't want what anyone else can go out and buy, but I'd feel bad about modifying a Type R, so I personally would stay away from those cars.
