my girlfriend just bought me car seat covers (b-day gift) for RSX/DC5 bcz driver-side is cracking pretty bad, but we just realized we need to find upholstery shop for installation because it came with upholstery staple. How much will it cost for installation both seats? and any recommended shops in SoCal?

Do it yourself. Unzip the back of the seat cover to get to the bolts that hold the seat back to the rest of the seat. Take the seat out of the car and use a pair of long nose to undo the hog rings from the old cover and put the new cover on in reverse order. Its not that difficult.

sounds good, but I am not sure if I have the skill to get this done

btw, for the side air-bag, will the new seat cover need to cut to fit that plastic panel?

Is there a hole in the side of the cover? If there isn't then you'll need to cut a hole. Are these oem replacements?
