I've been looking around on this site and I cant find any information about the differences of carbon fiber grades. Some sites say their CF hood is grade A and some say their CF hood is grade AA. What does all that mean? Thanx

from all my friends' responses, VIS makes really good hoods, really good quality and oem-like fitment. i dont know about the other brands, but VIS would be a safe bet.

Thanks guys... I heard that the VIS hoods turn greenish after a while. I also read that on some other posts here. I was thinking seibon hood is the best... but I am still confused about the grade A and grade AA stuff. Anyone else know?

From what I know Grade A is the best out there and AA is lower Grade.. Mainly it's the finishing touches on the hood and also the weight and aero dynamics of the hood it's self.. these are just basics which i know of but do a search and see what you come up with i could be wrong. :dontknow:

So grade A is the best right? Well then spending 250 dollars on a grade A hood shouldnt be too bad. Do you have any pics that you could send me or anything that would show me these air bubbles you are talking about. I am in the market for a hood but dont want to waste 250 dollars on something that is crap. I would rather spend the extra few hundred and get something that will last and look nice.
