well, i got a new clutch installed at acura, and no one ever told me about letting the clutch break in. i basically let it rip right from the start. my friend got a new clutch installed in his DC2, and he said he has to let it break in for 500 miles?

is this true, that you have to let the clutch break in?

shit, well i've had it for like 4k now, and no problems...

should i be worried?
obviously not after 4k and your fine, if there was any damage done its done now. If anything the damage caused by not breaking it is is pre-nmature wear.
ok good. thanks guys.
what did they charge you for installing the clutch?

:shakehead :laughat:
just wait 500 miles, its not that bad. You can run the car hard, just don't shift fast.
