Is it normal to get wheel hop when it is cold. Ever since it has been getting cold I get wheel hop like I have stock mounts in the car.:firemad:

I know it gets harder as it gets colder. The mounts stopped the hop because it took away the softness.
But why would it hop again if it turns even stiffer?

Maybe b/c your car makes more power when it's cold outside, plus the fact that your tires are harder and cold track temps definitely don't help the situation.

Yea, it may be the tires. It is def not the brand or anything though, it does it with my toyo's or azenis.,

The azenis are great, it's about the only 16" option we have. I have 6 rims, 2 with azenis for the track and the toyo's are TPT's for all season driving. I get no traction with the toyo's I usually keep the azenis on the front most of the summer.

man, you have unbelievable times for your mods. i want to break beat 14.0 so im guessing sticky tires would be great. azenis seem to be the way to go. the other "good ones" like T1-S and S0-3s are so expensive. im hoping with i/e/hondata, es mm, revo, and azenis, i can get there.

With azenis you should be able to hit it. I went from 14.0 to 13.6 by putting those tires on. good luck
