The last week or so really sucked as a shitload of problems happened to my car.First clutch went out and the flywheel was junk,so i got a stock flywheel and cc stage 4 put in at acura. Then they call me and say the bolt is sheared off my driver side wheel Knuckle and that and the hub/bearing will need replaced.I looked at the part and nothing around it was touched so i think the bastards just wanted extra cash but how could i prove it so i said fix it.Total bill $1328.So the clutch and fly are nice but when driving between buildings i hear a exhaust noise i never heard before so i go jack up the car and my compech race header is cracked at the flange and was fine before going in there.Note:I have enjo 3 piece mounts in the car.Again how can i prove it so i'm screwed there too and just had my buddy reweld it.Then when we have the car up i notice tranny fluid or oil leaking from the case which never leaked a drop before the clutch install. Then to top it off yesterday i heard my aftercooler pump sounding low on water and checked the water and it took half a gallon but i thought nothing of it because i didnt top it off for awhile. So today driving in town i notice with light throttle the car bogs a bit at 3000-4000 rpms but once i floored it it would go away but then happen again.I also had loads of knock when going full throttle so i listened to he pump and found it running half dry again.I got a bottle of u/v dye to find leaks and put it in the a/c radiator, topped it off and ran it for 20mins then checked everything with a blacklight and my worst fears were confirmed...no external leaks and no change in a/c water levels. So i start the car and slowly rev until it bogs, shut it down and pulled the fuel rail to look at the injectors and guess what...bright florescent green under the blacklight.I'm guessing without the motor running there is no vacume so not much water is lost and under boost not much either but if you drive around town it empties quick.Sorry for the long story but i had to vent.I guess my car will be down for awhile at some point so i can take the core to a shop and have if pressure tested and the leak fixed,or maybe i will get lucky and someone will pull out in front me.lol with my luck they would't have insurance anyway.

hmm i havent had any leaks in mine. i "pressure tested" mine before i even put it in by letting it run for a whole night with all hoses connected so that way i knew mine didnt leak.

i hope you get this problem resolved soon. thats bad luck and yeah im not sure how to prove that acura techs fucked your car up

If they dropped your motor and never disconnected the header that would be there fault. I would tell the service manager that you are very unhappy, and that you may never be coming back. I would also make sure everybody you know in the area never went there for even an O-ring. That is just messed up, and I'm sorry that you had to go through this at all. Don't let this effect the way you feel about your car, just make a list and fix stuff. The core can be repaired. Take it out and see what is up, and then take it to a shop that fixes Rads and have them tell what they think happen, and then have them put it in writing, so you can go slap it down on the service managers desk, for some resolve. Remember, if you don't ask. the answer is no. :spin:

I know every stealership is different, but I inherently don't trust them. Nothing but problems dealing with Camco Acura in Ottawa. Will never go there again. The morons had my car for 3 days and failed to find the loose spark plug. I took it back and found it in 5 minutes.

Either be brave and start doing your own work, or find a private garage you can trust.

yea, i know all about the cooler leaking. at around 4000 rpm the car would bog and you see a nice puff of white smoke. ran through quite a bit of water myself too... no damage was done though

Man that sucks!!!

It's very hard to prove a shop did something wrong, they will lie out their asses. A shop in my town messed my RSX up and I couldnt do shit about it. Hopefully you get these things fugured out.
