C6 Corvette owners wanting to seriously upgrade have quite a few choices. Companies like Lingenfelter, Callaway, and Pratt & Miller can turn the C6 into a vehicle capable of taking on the world's best supercars. Not to be left out, Detroit-based Specter Werkes/Sports launched its GTR package for the C6 Corvette last week that features an extensive carbon fiber widebody kit, heat extractor hood, Stoptech brakes, Forgeline or HRE wheels, Corsa exhaust system and more. The customer of the first C6 GTR also opted for Specter's Matrix II engine package that includes a stroker engine increasing displacement from 6.2L to 6.8L and boosting horsepower to 545 bhp and torque to 530 lb-ft. More details on Specter's GTR package and this particular car's features can be found after the jump.

...so its basically a widebody C6 with rims, badges, exhaust and a hood? wow, and they call us ricers; that thing looks worse than any honda ive ever seen.

and to stroke it to 6.8L and only get 545hp and 530tq is not impressive.

Yea it's ugly. I just cant understand why an American tuner cant make a beautifull super-car Corvette- this car is too gaudy. It's a shame bc it has incredible performance numbers.

What's really impressive is your stupidity. Just a 0.6L increase and make an additional 115 hp and over 100 lb-ft, naturally aspirated, and still pass emissions. You can't even comprehend that kind of work....

Your point kinda enhances his point. 6.2L for 430hp was not impressive to start with.
70hp per litre? that's hyundai territory

where the fuck do you retards come from?

530 ft-lbs of torque is enough to pull a fucking FLEET of Hondas backwards as they try to pull away at WOT.

Big engines in american cars have higher liters versus HP,(8.4l 600hp)dodge viper (5.2l 560hp)LP560. I dont know but i beleive its because the Americans leave a lot of room on the table or something.

Its an irrelevant statistic made for Honda owners to feel not so shitty. And then they wonder why all their beloved manufacturer gives them are some slow, ugly, and boring cars.

By that clinically retarded statistic, your god (the NSX) is less efficient than the RSX. I guess the AMG C63 is a shitty engine because despite 451hp, it sports a "Hyundai" 72hp/l. Oh and BTW, Hyundai is on the verge of kicking Acura's ass.

If the engine and car is so unimpressive, why is it that only one import car is in its league?

I can't really think of any powerful naturally aspirated Japanese engines, so the NSX was the best example I could come up with (which is funny, because when a domestic vehicle comes from the factory FI, all the fanboys shit their pants and say that FI is cheating...).

edit - Aha! The Lexus IS-F. A 5.0L V8 producing 416hp. That's 83hp/l. I guess that's an inefficent POS too, right, since its hp/l is on par with the shitty sloweranduglierthanacamryTSX?

The good old ricer hp per liter comes out again!! Now do tq per liter and compare it to your honda.

I'm not really impressed with this car, looks to flashy. Much rather have a C6R-S and a ZR-1. He'll I'd rather just have a stock Z06. If I was going to be dumping all this money into an upgrade that a company is doing I'd go with a company that at least has racing in it's blood and designs it for performance in every aspect. Not just throwing a bigger engine in and a body kit.

it doesn't look too bad, bumper and hood are a bit aggressive but it's not too bad.
