I just got off the phone with ct-engineering asking them if they have any auto tensioners available and they said that they are in the process of making a new batch which they are releasing in four to six weeks. The guy also said that there will be some design changes. He didn't say how big these changes were though.:)

I wonder if CT will continue to mill these ouf of the fragile Alu alloy they have used in everything thus far? I don't care how great the design may be: I have come to the conclusion that anything which doesn't involve the OEM Honda tensioner is simply another variation of chasing your own tail.

Think about it guys: $500+ for someone else's tensioner or $400 for an EP3 EPS rack from a salvage yard. Just my opinion, of course.

I dont like the feel of EPS compared to hydraulic assist on the track, just my opinion

And one of the recommendations I gave to nate was that the 6061 they're using should be replaced with a common steel like 1050

Can you explain further what exactally it does? I look at it and I'm unsure how it works. Sorry for the stupid question...
How I see it, is no question is a stupid one, if you are not sure what the answer is.

However I will leave the detail to Jose himself, but it general, it allows you to use the OEM Auto-Tensioner, and it relocates the PS Pump upstream where it needs to be to make room for the blower pulley. Works like a charm.
