Okay, it has been a long time coming, winter break finally hit and it is motor time.

What will be going in:

Skunk2 Stage 1 Cams, along with a full Skunk2 head package.
RDX 440cc injectors
RBC intake manifold
Thermal gasket
OEM Timing Chain
OEM Chain Tensioner

I<3 OEM parts

I didn't take any pics of the RBC but we all know what that looks like.

We decided to take the route of removing the engine. Why? Because it is really a lot easier than trying to mess around with timing the motor and putting the head back on in the car.

My car dirty as hell right before the pulling of the motor.



Front middle portion of the radiator support removed for extra clearance.


Motor almost out, me and my right hand man getting it out.


A very empty lonely DC5 engine bay.


This is the motor after 84k everything looked great, only problem was the machine shop said I had exhaust valve guide.




I should be getting the head back today (tuesday) so I will follow up from there.:thumbsup:
