Well i used to work at the first boat basin the one right under the GWB. I can somewhat still get in there for free but the people i knew no longer work there. There used to be army guards under the bridge at all times when they were painting and what not its pretty cool. I live in MA now so we have plenty of twisties i gotta try.

Btw start at that road and take it all the way past that and then get out past all the twistier hope on palisades and take rt 9w North past the NY state border. You'll see a district section sign but dont take that one, keep going and go past the school and what not and ull see a sharp down hill road. Follow that all the way down and make a very sharp right turn and ull go down towards piermont and ull see the tappan zee bridge and a very very gorgeous little town with amazing restaurants.

Theres plenty of nice senic drives up in NY state but not so many in NJ. 9W is actually a great ride but very dangerous. Goes thru all 3 bridge, GWB, Tappan Zee and Newburgh.

I have rode it all in this area bro. I have to say I live by some of the best bike roads, 9w through alpine, to Nyack Talk about beauty. That's my work commute in my rsx as well. Life does not suck for me.

but River drive........ I have it in my will.............ashes scattered there.

For those who don't know...That is a over 300 curves in like 10 to 12 miles... My motorcycle club.. Nexx Dimenzion. took a three day weekend down there!! It was fucking awesome..... plenty of knee dragging!! but, if you are a newbie I suggest... waitt until you get at least a year or two on your bike before you attempt this Challenge. Trust me everybody in my club who had under a year of riding had to stay back at home.

btw if anyone needs used parts im vouching for mdgracing.com email Marcel and he'll hook you up. Just bought a rear dog bone and kick stand from him ( i just put the bike down the first time after lowering the back and the bike leans 45 degrees) posted it and the kick stand was shrunken down too.

my ideal driving day would be on a cloudy day. A canyon, mountain side road through rainforesty road, or a long long deserted bridge...drives like that by myself with no one on the road would be the most peaceful thing for me. Car?...anything that fun to drive.

I dont remember if it was last yr or the yr before, but a bunch of us were at poconos fusa (me, jp182, and 3 of our other buddies). I borrowed jp182's 600rr for a session, and everyone had me lead. After about 2 laps all of the guys got antsy and coming off the last turn onto the front straight, 4 of us were side by side, knees out, and accelerating hard. The rest of the session, 3-4 of us were riding almost side by side, knees dragging, outbraking each other.

Such a rush.

I love riding with people of very equal skillsets on the track. Makes it more intense trying to keep up/pass them.
