The main difference is that you can the get leather interior with the premium,sunroof,maplights,heated front seats,there are a few other differences but i forget what they are,hope this helps

All the differences can be found on the acura website. I think now you have to go through like... pre-owned, model information, rsx.
for my year, 06', the engine, transmission, wheels, front brakes, exhaust, stereo, leather interior, heated seats, and the fog lights (i think) are the differences... and epa.
you could get leather interior on the base im pretty sure... its jsut extra. my car has map lights... and I have a base.
but I'm not saying that you couldnt change all that after the fact.

I think the sun/moon roof is available for all rsx's.
Canadian bases don't have sunroofs or leather seats, but should pretty much the same as a Premium, just without the "luxury" items.
Premium has more toys, leather, better sterio, heated seats, just all together a better interior package. I got the basic interior, the sterio is ok, but the big plus my ass dont cook in the summer lol.

i stitched my seats red so they look pretty sweet in the cloth with red stitching anyways!

there are many suspension interier gearbox engine....all are much better on the type sjust like the title says, whats the major differences?

really suprised you forgot about the engine, with a base you get a k20A3, with a type s your get a K20A2 with the 02-04s and a k20z1 with the 05-06s. the k20z1 is the closest thing to the k20A which is what is put in the Japanise Integras. the gearbox with a type S is a six speed manual with a 4.3 FD for the 02-04's and a 4.7 FD for the 05-06's exhaust is better especialy with the 05-06 type s....the list goes on, it is really worth to spend a little more and get a type s.The main difference is that you can the get leather interior with the premium,sunroof,maplights,heated front seats,there are a few other differences but i forget what they are,hope this helps
no sunroof means a lot less rotational weight....a very good thing if you want to track drive.the cloth is pretty nice. I dont like either stereo (cheap paper cones, vs a bose blows system)

i am asking what the difference is between a base to a premium model. not a base to a type s model. i know the major differences between the base and the type s, i wanted to know what was different on the premium. the second half of your reply was good though thanks. :thumbsup:
I was commenting on how the base rsx in Canada doesn't have a moonroof and all of the rsx's in America have them. I didn't know that.no sunroof means a lot less rotational weight....a very good thing if you want to track drive.
