Okay guys I managed to get these dyno numbers without disappearing :shady: if you followed the other thread you'll know what I'm talking about:laughing: So the numbers you are about to see are all done on the same dyno here in Portland Oregon at VIP Performance on a dynocom dyno. The BLACK line is my car before the Skunk2 Alpha race header. The GREEN line is after the Skunk2 RH. Aaand finally the Reflash is the BLUE line. There isn't a lot of peak HP increase, but I do get almost 11 more torque 1400rpms faster. I'm pretty happy with it, but I did expect more peak HP since Hondata does say "up to 40hp increase at high end". But I'm not sweating it. :)

Awesome for mid-range gains and dd'ing. I was expecting more from top end though. What are your supporting mods?
Yeah I was expecting more top end too but I'm happy with the mid range and torque increase. My supporting mods are skunk2 alpha RH, 65mm HKS catback, PWJDM power chamber intake and samco induction hose.
froman, what fuel were you using? I wonder if higher octane would push the numbers higher as it needs to retard timing to prevent knock otherwise.
I only run 92 octane in my car. To get higher octane here I need to put booster in it

I wonder what the numbers would be with a CAI.. I don't know to much on the power chamber but from what I've read some say they're not too good.. But I have no personal experience with them

Yeah I mean there are people who swear by this intake and there are people who swear by the CA And there dyno sheets to prove either side so who knows? Thats another thread anyways
haha.
wow that midrange must pull like a boss. nice gains man
Thanks :) it definitely is fun and different from what I'm used to

I'm gonna do my best to get it to the dyno.. There's a place near by that only charges $80 for 3 pulls:D

That 65mm catback is probably restricting your top end some, but probably keeps noise down compared to getting bigger.. just depends what you want out of your car.
We'll find out in the next couple months, as I'm running a 70mm and I'll probably get the same header and reflash...

...unless i happen upon a couple grand so i can get a toda header :p

I have a 2.25", 2.5" and a 3" exhaust for my car.. Just ones I've picked up over the last few years.. So If i get to make it to a dyno i might try and switch it up between the dyno pulls if they will let me to see the difference in gains.. I know when I had the 3" on it pulled really good up top so I'm sure a 3" will net more power obviously, but the question is how much more power with this reflash..
