Well this baby is gone..

For what happened:

http://forums.clubrsx.com/showthread.php?p=2312483#post2312483

anyways, i hope i get a decent amount of money back from insurance, with that after paying off the car, i should still have around 6 grand left for a new car.

Right now im tore between the G35 Coupe and Evo.

The G35 is downright SEXY, its has more luxury options than the EVO. Decent amout of power and RWD.

However the EVO is AWD and factory turbo, easy to make fast and with decent looks, but the interior feels and looks cheap.

Any opinions, also since this board is more visited by non rsx owners, any of you guys have either car? can you tell me what was the OTD price you paid for them?

thanks.

Go with the G35, its sexy, fast, RWD, luxerious not crazy pricey, what more do you want? Evo feels cheaper, require more maintanence and isnt as practical. The G35 is a sexy sports coupe, the Evo is a fast car based on an econo car

Ill have to say EVO...more power, more potential, AWD + 4 doors does make it practical...but maintance on those can be pricy from what I hear.

Tough choice...have you considered STi?

I would definetely pick up a G35 over an EVO anyday. I like how you are wrapped in leather and have the stock navigation popping out of the dash. Arent the G35 and 350z motor the same. If so all you have to do is throw on that twin turbo on it and you will be eating evos and :wavey: sti's for breakfast.

If your looking for performance only and don't care about much else, the EVO would be a fine choice. But beyond it's performance capabilities, it's a commuter/economy car. With the G35 your getting a lot more vehicle all around....more options, more comfortable to take on road trips, better fit and finish, etc. Not to mention, it doesn't have a ridiculous wing bolted to the rear trunk :thumbsdow

Not sure if insurance is a consideration, but the EVO would be a little more to insure (all other factors identical of course), due to a higher symbol.

get the 350Z...faster and just as sexy...your lookin at about 28K on up
Well said! I love the G35 and a friend of mine has one. The thing is, it just seems too luxurious for a sports car. Something about it says, "be easy on me." I really can't figure it out. If I was in your position I would look at the 350z Track edition! Both the 350z and G35 are awsome cars! Im really just happy to see your friend and his girlfriend survived the crash. God bless! Good luck! :wavey:

G35 for sure. There is no real choice imo. The G35 wins hands down. You get much more car out of it.

Hey thanks for the replies. Yeah the G35 seems more like all around car.

Now, pricewise, arent they around the same? around the 30'g?
Yes, but the 350z track can go upwards of $35,000. Keep in mind that is the TRACK edition.

Yeah i did, but that huge hood scoop was turndown. :)

Now maybe i wont be able to afford a 30+ car

So whats a good car in the 20,000g range?

I only see the WRX as a good choice, the SRT-4 is out of the question, i have been driving FWD all my life, so i want to try something diff, besides im not a big fan of the neon =D
