Extra/additional water temperature gauge/sensor

Hi!
I'm have a race car without stock cluster.
My only gauge will be Defi "computer" with all informations in it.
And i'm little nervous about water temperature sensor.
Somebody put it in place on the photo.
I know that the stock sensor is in the bottom of radiator.
Do you think that this additional sensor shows real temperature or lower or highier?
Thanks for any help!

That is the factory location for the ECT sensor, the one in the bottom of the radiator is your fan switch. The temp reading is accurate and you will be fine.

Thanks!
Can you tell me temperature start a fan?
Because on my extra gauge was 212 Fahrenheita and it doesn't start...
It has a range of 196°-203° but that’s ok. Your sensor is reading the temperature of the coolant that is flowing out of the engine and into the radiator, not what has cycled through the radiator. You can test the fan switch if you’re worried that it’s not working. There’s a quick procedure in the service manual.
