will the vinyl color fade?

just redout the taillights with Oracal 8300 code 30.

it looks great now, wondering how long will it last??

Well, you shouldn't really start a new thread for this, but in any event vinyl will fade with time and exposure to direct sunlight. So if you park outside it will fade faster.

Vinyl will also last around 3 or 4 years (this high performance 1mm vinyl anyway) but that's just staying on the car, not color fade.

For a $5 mod you should expoect and probably be worth it to change it once a year when it goes through the rough seasons

I contacted oracle and they said it will not fade easily. I'll post the email when i get home.

I've had mine for a year, and they actually look a little more red then they did originally but still match really well.

On the Orcal brochure about the 8300 series, it states 5 years in direct sunlight.
