glws. looks very stock and that means it is a good sale. do not get me wrong I like to have aftermarket parts as much as the next guy. it is nice to have all of the oem parts with the chassis on the sale and it tells a story. that story is I didn't tear this thing up.

Isn’t that the biggest difference between the 02-04 and 05-06? I know it has the z1 and a tad bit more HP. I have two 02-03 typeS and my brothers 06 base auto. I like the clean straight line of the 05-06 more though.

honestly I think there are some more differences in the 06 base. the 06 typeS is full of differences, here are some : ps pump operates 9% better, steering rack assembly as some bump steer improvements, PRC cams, PRC crankpulley, 4.7FD, went to single valve springs & thicker edge valve retainers, 26.4mm front sway bar & 21mm rear sway bar, the fuel tank assembly is moved back 7"-8" towards the rear of the chassis closer to the rear subframe (this allows an easy custom exhaust route like EG/DC/EK's if you tunnel under the parking park assembly) and helps with weight distribution, the upper rear strut tower area is reinforced, the upper front strut tower bar is considerably larger and is locked down with 3 large flange nut bolts on each side, the seats are better, the door seals are thicker for wind noise reduction, the throttle body is a little different (same size as 02-04 & 05), the front knuckles allow for larger roll center adjust ball joints (like the Type R front knuckles).

Personally, I do not like the PRB-5 heads. I like the first gen PRB-1 heads, Honda held higher tolerances on quality control. The PRB-5 heads i have owned had poor centerlines on the intake ports. Literally, three of the intake ports would have an obstruction lip on 30-40% of the port and at some parts up to a 3/16" and typically `1/8" obstruction lip.

I am selling my beloved 2006 Acura RSX Type-S. I am the one and only owner, purchased new in August of 2005. Clean title, no accidents. Impeccably maintained and garage kept. Engine oil was changed every 3-5k miles with Mobile 1 synthetic.

It was just tuned up at Buerkle Honda after being in storage for a couple years. Everything on the car works and is mechanically sound. There are a couple oil leaks to keep an eye on (oil pan liquid gasket and an axle boot), and the tires need to be replaced. Also note, this is a mid-west car, so there is some minor rust forming now.
