Hey RSX FAM... i have a 2002 RSX TYPE S with a 2006 type s motor. Lately my car has been sputtering wen I accelerate about 3k RPMS....its koo first gear but after 2nd gear about 3k RPMS it laggs on acceleration n sputters n i just changed the fuel pump thinking it was that but it wasent it. Can i get some help on suggestions on what it might be.

Check one thing at a time and don't buy anything until you verify it's broken. Poking and hoping gets expensive. Check the easy stuff first. Fuel filter, Plugs, wires, injector function, air filter, vacuum leaks, throttle position sensor and idle air control. How does it idle? Depending on mileage and any other fixes, some of those may be due and then you get lucky. If any of those things are newer, you may get lucky looking at other things. Without an OHM meter things are hard to test on your own.

Unfortunately our cars don't have any filter besides the medium that's in the pump itself

Throw a chevron complete fuel system treatment in the tank near empty and put like 3-4 gallons in and drive that bitch till it clears up. That stuff is magic

I wouldn't call it magic but it might work. I think it's 10 gallons of fuel per container though
