Function-7 LCA & Comptech tie-bar install. Step-by-step pics, 1 of 3: *56k, go away*

The old: Progress rear plate and bar plus Comptech lower tie bar (which will stay).

The new goods: Function-7 rear lower control arms and Comptech tie bar/sway bar combo.

Function-7 billet aluminum lower control arms...

Clearly, CNC-milled, not cast.

No Chinese crap: "Made in the USA"

The Comptech unit came with detailed instruction, though this install is pretty straightforward and intuitive. Teflon tape is applied to the sway bar to prevent squeaking against the polygraphite bushings.

These stainless Allen bolts will be threading directly into aluminum. Anti-sieze should be used.

These little cupped washers were new to me. There will be aluminum-to-aluminum contact, so some white lithium grease is applied.

Part 2 will detail removal of the existing sway bar and LCA's...
