Getting ready for K-Pro!!

I'm getting ready to buy K-Pro for my 06-S, & am wanting to know what to look out for. Other than the normal speedo blips, cruise control, etc. I should have my money saved up by november, so I'm going to research more until then. But I have a couple questions now.

1. Can I use my my Mac laptop? Does K-Pro work on the OSX platform?
2. Once I get started, do I DL the default calibrations from the hondata website, or is there a CD of some sort that I run?

3. What are some of the seemingly common mistakes that you, or other people have made while tuning?

4. I know I have to buy an 02-04 o2 sensor, & an 02-04 ECU & get the 05-06 upgrade, but do I still have to send my original ECU in to Hondata?

Ah lucky! I am probably going to have to wait until January to get my K-Pro.
Anyways man, I am in the same boat as you, doing the research about the little things so that when the time comes, we will have it down-pat
Cannot run Kmanager with OSX unless you have some kind of windows crap on it

Base kals are available in Kmanager, just select, File>New

Dont tune if you've never done it before or think that you know what you are doing when you dont, you can risk your motor

No, just send an 02-04 ECU to Hondata, keep your 05-06 ECU somewhere safe if you want to return to stock at a later time

You'll get a CD with Kmanager and kals, but you'll need to checkout Hondata's site for an updated version of Kmanager.
You can download everything you need (calibrations) from hondata's website. I have a mac too, so I went to a local pawnshop and bought a laptop for $75 bucks. Cleared it of everything but windows and downloaded k-manager on to that. Works great and I love having a laptop just for my car. haha
I have a macbook and I just duelboot. It's pretty easy with the builtin bootcamp function.
