I've had the Meguiars gold class endurance high gloss tire crap for a couple months now and every time I try to use it I get one tire done and say screw this. Ive applied it with a sponge and a terry cloth towel, both dont apply the product well. I find that this stuff doesnt get in the cracks of the tire like between the letters on the tire etc. I will sit there for 5min on one tire and it still wont be evenly covered and it will have bare spots. For the people who use this product how do you apply it? Ive just been using some spray on crap until i can figure this product out.

I would Stay away from any expesince tire Gloss. Just Pick up a can of Black Magic tire Shine Spray Not foam I use this all the time and when i wash my car. No foam no wiping just sparay aorund the tire a couple of time for a nice deep shine. Foam is to much oh a hassle and no dripping with the spray. This is the Aresol can type.

The sprays usually give you a nice even coat, unfortunetly for me it always tends to be slightly windy here so I always get a light layer of that crap on my side panels. Even when it's not too windy it still happens.
Use the tire swipes, they don't work perfectly but you will get a more even coat.

Have you guys used Lexol Vinylex?
Vinylex has a UV protectant in it (significantly lowers possibility of dry rought). It is easy to apply. No browning what so ever. It repels dust, literally. It also wicks water like wax.
I have about every tire shine on my shelf and many have been there for years (experience). I would never recommend the foam sprays (they are very hard on wheel surfaces and body panels). Always apply shine by hand with a rag or small sponge. Many brands can discolor cleared, polished and chromed surfaces. At one point I thought that Meguiars Endurance High Gloss was all 'great and wonderful', but I came to my senses when my Firestone tires with 35,000 miles kept getting browner and browner with each application. Not to mention, these tires began to dry rought extremely fast. Every application of shine that those tires had seen was with Meguiars Endurance Gel.
Just remember that just because a product is a certain brand, doesn't mean it is an end-all. Do a little research and it will go along way?

I recommend Lexol Vinylex. I have used it for over a year. The last time I applied, it has kept my tires black and shiny for 3 weeks straight and it has rained twice. Buy a bottle and try it out.

I've also started using Vinylex for the tires the past few months. A little goes a long way and it also gives a more natural look.
