An applicator sponge puts on the gel fine everytime for me.

I use Vinylex most of the time, but sometimes before a car meet I'll use the Endurance gel because it's shinier and makes me feel pimpin.

The gel does tend to build up though, so every few months I'll scrub down the tires with a little Simple Green to make sure that it doesn't brown at all.

Nah, it doesn't shine more than Endurance.
It looks good, nice, and clean. I think "clean" is the best word for Vinylex.
"Wet" would be Endurance.

Once they are both dried, Vinylex looks more like a nice and shiny, natural rubber. But not too shiny.
