Got Rear Ended

Yesterday, exactly 18 months to the day that I get my car, some biotch rear ended me on the way to work. I was fine just a little stiff but looser today. The girl was alright.

I was behind two vans and the first one was making a right turn into a plaza and turned unbelievably slow so the second van slowed as did I. For whatever reason the van in front cam to a stop so I did too. I had to be firm on the brakes but didn't have to slam them or anything and ended up with like 5 ft to spare. As i come to a stop.....BANG. I'm like wtf. THe girl just plowed me.

I get out and from the side I can see the rear bumper is lowered. The panel gap on the side below the fendor gets bigger as you move towards the rear. I get to the back and the bumper is of the mount and the gap below the trunk and lights is like 4 to 5 inches all the way across. It was still firmly attached and i couldn't shake it or anthing.

I didnt hear any screeching brakes but it looked like she tried to stop. The screws for her plates left marks in my bumper only about 2 inches up from the bottom so i guess she was on the brakes hard and her nose dived down. I was surprised that my bumper wasnt cracked and no paint flaked. It was scrathed and had her screw imprints. Her bumper was cracked near the right side.

The stupid girl said she tried really hard to stop but couldn't. I'm like its a fu#$in perfect day, no rain, sunny out , wtf. I didn;t ream her got, just got her info and stuff. She was asking how i wanted to handle it and stuff...go through insurance etc. She seemed scared and told me she's paying like $500 a month for insurance already (on an 02 protege). Her brother or brother in law was on the phone and wanted to talk to me so Im like whatever. He asks like 5 times to not go through insurance and offers to pay cuz shes already had problems/incidents with insurance. I said to bad Im going through the insurance. (Girl was damn fine though).

Tow trucks show up and I dont know it they're trustworthy. Anyways, they pointed out that the passenger door gap is wider near the window an narrower at the bottom so the frame might be bent. !!! May be the way she hit the bottom of the bumper rather than in the middle??

:stop: Cops show up, fill out the report, says he's not going to lay charges cuz it looks like she didn't intend to hit me (wtf) but does say shes at fault.

Tow truck driver was nice but made the hare sell to take the car to some shop he recommends. Got the car towed the dealer (like 5 minutes away) and they said to take it to one of their recommended shops. Turns out its a shop that my insurace recommends as well so I dont need an adjuster to look at it. I hope the shops not going to cheap out on the repair to save the insurance co money as their on the insurance companies approved list. I was told by the insurance person I am entitled to new Acura parts. THe shop said they'd put the car on some sort of scanner to check the frame but at first glance looking into the trunk under the carpet, it didnt look deformed.

So now im in a piece of shit 07 malibu.
I know I should be greatful no one was hurt and I am, but I'm just so worried about the car. If its just a bumper then fine....but bent frame and stuff??

Is the bumper designed to pop off like that?
Do I need to get my seatbelt replaced as well? I though I heard/read somewhere that once you're in an accident it or the tensioner has to be replaced.
