Well after working with Jesse at AFI, IT IS *UCKING AWESOME what I've just recieved, I am still waiting on other parts but to share my joy and definately recommend AFI as another form of turbo induction company to consider, cheers!!! Follow the thread for more parts to come. Pics are a little tad on the bad side...iPhone...blah :dontknow:

I'll have the rest of your kit going out early next week, finishing the exhaust now.
As for the welds...the pics make them look kinda blury. We have been doing this for awhile now. You'll be hard pressed to find another hand welded manifold with the same quality. The Manifold is welded with 2 passes over 200amps. We've seen what works and what doesn't. A single pass on low amps is a VERY easy weld to make LOOK good and uniform, especially on thick stainless, unfortunately you won't get the penetration and strength to have a long lasting peice. A Robot is a different story and completely different process than a hand welded manifold.
Shitty pic, but we did a few manifolds over a year ago with .035 filler like some other companies use. Welds aren't undercut and flush with the pipe. Like mentioned above its a VERY easy weld to make look good, almost robotic like. Look at the coloring of the pipe, or lack there of...no heat ring, etc. We did prolly 10 manifolds like this, eventually had problems with 2 of them. Thats 2 too many.
