if i drive fast, and start to brake, once in a while i hear a loud noise coming from the front right side. could it be my wheels? it cant be my enghine mounts, because i just got all 4 changed to innovative 60a. anyone?

what about them? what causes it, and how can i fix it?
describe noise.. knocking..banging.. etc
its like a loud knock, but only one. i hear it sometimes also when i hit an unseen pot hole by accident.
did u check the wheel lugnuts? could be loose
but how could it make such a loud noise? ill check anyway in the morning. any other ideas, or people who went through the same problem?
how about a loose caliper? If the sound happens with the brakes, you should probably check those first. Common sense there.

i agree

if the lug nuts are loose enough the wheel will cause a rapid banging when letting off the gas or lightly braking. had this happen to me once and it scared the crap out of me when i found out :noes:. they were loose enough where you can easily turn them by hand

i had the same problem! sound was the vibration of the wheel being loose/wobbling.. i invested in a torque wrench after that
sdo ill try that tommorow and update.
If happens all the time could be worn brake linings
Could be wear indicators notifying you that pads need replacment
Could be a frozen caliper not releasing fully
Could be a broken return spring (drum brakes)
Double check your mounts
there brand new innovative 60a mounts with less that 1000 miles on them. i had the same sound when i had my old mounts too.
i would say pads
i don't think its break pads. i had this problem too like if im turning slight right or slight left, it'lll go THUNK but it doesn't seem like anythings messing up... and now my break pads are starting to wear out its a different sound, more squeeky and annoying
