Help, Drivers side window switch

So i know there has been a thread on this already beacuase ive read it, ive looked around for it but cant seem to find it.

I was installing my recaro door inserts today, and realized after i put everything back together, my drivers side window doesnt go down automatically anymore. So i need help of how to reset it, and or get it back to normally where all i have to do is press the button and the window goes down. Help please!

Unplug the negative terminal of the battery.
Plug it back, use the windows for an hour or two manually while you are driving
and the auto should work fine after that... The switch need time to reset itself...

work fine for me...
