Help! Exhaust Doesn't Fit
I just got my Greddy SP2 in the mail today... I drive a base 2005 auto RSX. After two hours I finally got the rusty stock bolts and went to install the new cat back. It took me only a few minutes to realize it doesn't fit! With the resonated pipe on the correct rubber hanger the pipe is too short (about 4 or 5 inches) to bolt to the stock cat! I have stock headers and cat. I called clubrsx (where I ordered it from) and they told me to email pictures of the box. The tell me they sent me the correct part number... They said that there is a slight possibility that greddy accidentally put a type s the box I received... What is going on here? Am I an idiot? Is this a type s exhaust? Thanks in advance!

Ya its for a Type S.
Just order the Greddy Adaptor piece for 30-40 bucks and use the S catback.
Gives you more options later down the line if you ever decide to do a race header or a Type S header/cat swap.

Nevermind- apparently Greddy discontinued the adaptor about a year ago.
Either ship the exhaust back and get the base one or go to an exhaust shop and have them custom make you an adaptor.

yea dude, everyone already covered that you got the wrong exhaust -- good luck with getting the right one man, hope all works out.
buy the adapter and take the hit...
Just buy the adaptor or have clubrsx send you a return shipping label because shipping on that exhaust will suck because its an oversized box so its gonna be expensive. I would probably get an adaptor.
