keep jacking

help! wheels wont go up!
well im here this morning trying to change out my brake pads so i jack up the car (yes its in the correct spot) so i keep jacking the car up but the wheels are still on the ground. jacked the car up atleast a good 6 inches but nothing. what the hell is going on?!

never jacked the car up before?
im on aspecs and i had to jack up my car almost to the point where the scissor jack that comes with the car was straight to get my wheel like an inch off the ground, so i say just keep going

I put my car on the lift the other day, my front 2" of gap turned into about 10 inches.
Have fun with the pads, changed them and I just looked at it thinking it can't be this easy, I gotta be forgetting something somewhere :laughing:

Find a speedy jack that jacks up higher/faster?
i do actually have a real jack. i guess it was just my fault. i went from teins ss-p's to mugen ss. first time jacking up the car on the mugens, i never had this problem with the teins. already my 4th set of axxis ultimates and loving every set!
yes mugens have a lot more travel
