On vvme.com they recently offered 55w ballasts extra, is there anyway i can switch my current 35w ballasts out and put in the new 55w ballasts for even more light output?

yes but it will reduce the life of the bulb.

no one knows for sure...just think about your running 55watts into something that was designed to run 35watts.

I think it should be fine, just keep a extra set of bulbs with you as backup.

You'll be running too much power into the bulb and as stated above it will probably blow alot quicker. Just get new bulbs as well.

It will also result in a lower color temperature, and higher heat production because of the mismatch between bulbs.
