I noticed something with my D2S HID bulb that I have and my D2R bulbs. Besides the obvious metal piece in the D2R...there also appears to be a difference in the notches for fitment into the headlamp. Square notch is identical, but the smaller rounded notches are not in the same place. on the D2S the round notch (looking from the front of the bulb with the square notch on top) is offset to the left while the D2R has the small notch offset to the right. now there was a difference in brands to compare (philips D2R and osram D2S), but i was wondering if other people can confirm this like with a philips D2S and an osram D2R. This would be important to know when using the JDM headlamps since if the offset is wrong, the bulb won't fit without making a notch. luckily the notch is in a position where it's already marked on the plastic to fabricate the other notch if necessary.
