Just wondering how high i could go with compression if using 93 pump gas.

Its a TSX block and head, decked and honed with a light 3 angle valve job.
The mods will consist of

RBC IM
Hytech Full Exhaust
Blue Print Stg2 Cams
Acl Race Bearings
K24 I-Beam Rods
K24 Wiseco Custom 87.5 Pistons

Now with the pistons, should i go 12:4/13:5/13:7?

Im possibly going with stg3 Cams in the future but for right now im staying with stg2 Cams.

I'll be purchasing these parts tomorrow....:thumbsup: Thanks for the help.

i now youve heard it before "its all in the tune", personally im a safe person and would not go over 13.0 so the 12.4 compresion is what would go for to still use 93 safely, you could use it over 13 but as you know the likelyness of detonation increases. im sure some other n/a gurus can shed some more light, unfortunately im supercharged.

sounds like a build with great potential. don't go over 12.5-1. i'd even say stay at 12-1 or under and do some other work to get more power, just for reliability's sake. i think you can get wiseco's at 11.7-1 from blueprint. good luck :thumbsup:

you might wanna stay with the rbb(tsx) manifold. i remember reading a thread on k20a.org that this dude made more power with his k24a2 with the stock manifold than he did with the rbc. much more tq. i dont remember exactly what the build consisted of but i remember it being somthing to that affect. ill try to find it.

idk i guess it all what you plan on using the car for
I saw the thread but the RBB was ported. So with me having a stock RBB, it may not show the same gains. Plus he didnt have a dyno sheet to prove that he made more power/torque over the RBC. He could've seen gains if he had a ported RBC and maybe even more power up top.
