how much is it usually to install hood pins on a cf hood???? this guy by me is charging me 100 bucks, is that too expensive because it seems like it is to me....can anyone give suggestions...thankx

Hundred bucks is way too much. All you really need is a drill and dont be scared. If anyone wants to charge you, no more than 20 bucks.

so does anyone know if there is a diy anywhere or can anyone explain how to do this, because i dont wanna wreck a brand new vis cf hood, thankx

i wouldnt recommend you do it yourself unless you have some drilling skills and the tools necessary to do this task.. you have to make sure the holes you drill will align with the pins and that you drill right so you wont crack your cf.. my sugestion is that you should ask around and see if you can get some cheaper price other than that dood..good luck! ooh we have the same hood :thumbsup:
