I believe those relays are close together in the box under the hood. I'd look for anything out of place. But I'd disconnect the battery before pulling relays randomly. I learned this the hard way. Also... the alarm, I believe, has those two things in common. Maybe disable the alarm (not sure how) and see what happens?

Do your headlights flash when this happens?

I think shoegazer is on to something ... Something has gone wrong with the alarm or its relays and it is finding ground through the headlight circuit--which it would normally flash when engaged. Perhaps the relay that flashes the lights is stuck?

Do you have the Helms manual? There is a thread in the DIY section with a link to a PDF of it. That will show you where everything is.

i was reading that it could have found ground with the headlights. ,i do not btw have thoes manuals.

yeah they are definitely in the same alarm circuit as the headlights flash as horn goes off when doing an alarm. Check all the wiring, ground, fuses, etc.
