Does anyone know how I can get the leaves that are stuck inside my front bumper without taking the whole thing apart? Every time I go out to my car I keep see another stupid leaf hanging out and I can get that one out, but I can tell there are a lot more!!! Help me PLEASE!!!
I hose them out by pointing the hose down and towards the front through the engine bay. This also clears out grime from the radiator.
If that doesn't work, you can always shove a vacuum hose with a crevice tool in there; probably smart to use a wet vac for that.
The leaves that get behind the bumper from the wheel well can usually be hosed out by tracking the hose from the top and working down.
I don't know about sticking a coat hanger up there. I'm kinda clutzy and I'd be afraid of scratching something I don't want to. My Dad has a shop vac so maybe I can talk him into letting me try it out. I've thought about maybe climbing under there and seeing if there's a space big enough to fit my hand in. I have small hands, but i don't know about that.
just wondering you know the article in the do it yourself section on how to put on the mesh on your bumper well would that hurt to put that same mesh in that spot where those damn leave get stuck it was just a thought btw i use my little sister hehe she's got small hands so i make her stick he hands up in there and pull all the leaves out for me works like a charm
