im locally purchasing some tl type s wheels, what are some signs i should look for as i wont be mounting them for a few months?

ps im a complete noob when it comes to this stuff.

Obviously, look for anything that shouldn't be there. Stress fracture lines, deep kinks or dings on the lip, signs of any out of the normal forces having been applied anywhere on the wheel (like sliding into a curb).

Of course, cosmetic issues like curb rash on the lips and overall cleanliness are conditions you will have to decide on.

Every time we get an Acura TL in on trade at the dealer I work at, we look for bent rims on these. They always have bent wheels. If they bend so easily maybe you would want to look for another wheel so they don't bend on you also.
