Sweet, I wonder why the numbers changed. THey said almost 10 grand including labor and parts. Now, in the article, they say it's 7500 including labor.

And that 305/200 number says "est. at CRANK". Not that it's not impressive, but I don't think it's as high as you think it is.

14.4 maybe with me driving the car when I was learning to drive stick!!! But I would think that a 260WHP RSX could do a 1/4 mile faster than that with even a average driver. Must have been in the rain :D

Car and driver had a blurb about that -why the times were so bad. For starters I think it was 102 degrees.

The letters to the editor sucked shit the next month. All of the domestic guys were like, "40 grand a 2 liter and my 1988 camaro will still demolish it! Those kids are stuipd!" etc etc etc

I figured there was no way that was WHP. HP means nothing if you can't it to the ground :thumbsup:

how is it possible to get so much hp, torque without new cams??
i wonder how the gas milege is, how bad could it be if it still has the same cams??

F******g nutts if you believe that estimated crank hp and tq with those mods listed and 14.4 quarter mile. I'm sure everyone here could ruin that time with just and intake and/ or exhaust.

maybe they used stock tires? bad traction? heat, elevation? too much power to get any grip whatsoever

I think the person/people in charge of the Progress website are just plain stupid. Its sloppy as hell and just looks like shit. The guy doing it just fucked up. They probably meant to say 13.4 instead of 14.4, and also, cam sprockets are cam gears or cam pulleys.
I like the Progress front sway bar because it fits a race header, did anyone else realize that. I wonder if it works with all race headers. That would be a really good suspension setup because you could go with a complete Progress setup. 1.013 G's of lateral acceleration is sick for a daily driven car.

According to Car and Driver, it really did only run 14's. I asked a while back about why it only ran that fast and Shaun Church listed a bunch of reasons why all the cars ran slow that day. I think you can do a search under my username and Hytech and you should be able to find it.

Yeah, I remember reading that, and all of the cars were slow. I think the HKS turbo'd Type-s ran practically stock 1/4 mile times.
