I've been around a few months but lurking about a year now. Started looking for a VBP or TW 04/05 EP3 about that time and found one in July. Its not perfect very good at 52k and I will probably have it a long time.

So far I've done little mods like iPod adapter and trunk net. Also did the Hondata box mod with a snorkel from a 1987 porsche 944, and some 02-04 RSX rims that i sprayed. That rim spray was a total fiasco but I give myself a B- for effort. Had them fitted with BFG supersport 215/55/16 and its very nice imo. Kind of anti-stance.

The next mods are probably exhaust because the first owner dinged the tips and then probably A-spec suspension and type-S brakes. Its funny how I bought it so I wouldn't have an RSX and basically you have to bolt on 3/4 of an RSX to get it right.

I also own a 1992 SE-R with a bunch of good mods. About 12 years deep in the SE-R scene.

Thanks for looking. Comments welcome.

Thanks guys. The rim painting is all in the prep conditions and technique. If I did it over I'd just have them powdercoated because of the expense/time of doing it right.

The SE-R is actually for sale;

There's a few loose ends but overall 9/10. Most classic SE-Rs are complete trainwrecks at this point. I may not sell it. The market is lousy and I won't let it go to just anyone.

So far I really like the EP3. The list of aftermarket (and OEM) parts is insane to me. Trying to keep my hands off it until I have a real plan.

Thanks guys. The Hondata airbox mod is not that much of a difference but the snorkel I plunked in there works better than the stocker. I think its a linear power improvement with most in the midrange and then tapering off up top so its hard to feel.
Honestly the RSX wheels are 9lb lighter than stocker and I felt that performance improvement more. I'm not totally in love with the look though.
