ok so i went to put on my jdm valve cover today and like always i found another issue while removing parts. one of the ignition coils was coated in carbon and rust (i think). after pulling the plugs i found the problematic one had a rubber cap on it none of the others had. WTF! so anyway, i cleaned off the old ignition coil and it looks as good as new except for VERY minor dry rot on the end. my question is, should i try and clean out the spark plug tube or what? also, i'm going turbo at some point so ill be getting colder plugs down the road, should i just go pick up some cheap ones from advance auto for now? in the pic's it's the 2nd cylinder from the drivers side. i forget how they're numbered.
