I've changed my headlights twice each in the last two months....and now they are both burnt out again. I don't know what the deal is and I am getting tired of spending money and time putting the damn things in...can some one help me out? Thanks!

check and double check the hole that you insert the buld in is COMPLETELY CLEAN and FREE OF OIL!!!

The black weather guard rubber has lubricant on it, maybe you accidentally rubbed off on it in the past. and wash your hands godo.

I recently replaced both headlight low beams on my car. The worst side is the driver's side, I had to get my sister to connect the plug into the headlight becuase I couldnt' fit my hand in there. I just got stock replacements from AutoZone/Advance Auto Parts for about $8 with tax.

They are pricier than Silverstars, but PIAA makes great bulbs. I've had them last for 2+ years. The Hyper Whites (maybe called "Xtreme" now???) are a good match for my 4,300K HID low beams. Good luck.

05 RSX's stay away from Silverstar

Mines blew the 2nd day. I contacted Sylvania by email and this is what they said

Good Morning,
Thank you for taking the time to contact us with regards to the failure
of your SilverStar headlights. Please accept our apologies for any
inconvenience you may have encountered as a result of the failure of
this product. The amount of time that the SilverStars have lasted in
Acura is not what we would expect. On average, the SilverStar upgrades
will last approximately one year. If only one lamp had failed I would
think that the part may have been defective, but to have both lamps fail
within days of installation, it sounds as though the SilverStars may not
be compatible with your vehicle. We aren't 100% certain why this happens
in some vehicles and not in others, but in these cases, we would
recommend that not use the SilverStars in this particular vehicle and
return to using standard (OEM) product which seems to be more
universally compatible.

Where did you purchase these lamps? Do you have the receipts from your
purchase? If you have the receipts you should be able to return the
failed lamps to the store where they were purchased for a refund.
Almost all of the retail stores that carry our products have an
allowance built into their contract with OSRAM Sylvania for instances of
immediate or premature failure of one of products. They are supposed to
replace the product or issue a refund if the product has failed within
90 days of purchase. If for some reason the store will not issue you a
refund, please reply and provide the name and address of the store. We
can call and speak with the store manager because they should be
honoring their defect allowance/return policy.

Sincerely,
Customer Service
OSRAM SYLVANIA, Inc.
