There might be a way to turn it off from flashing inside the gauge cluster but I have never checked.

all you have to do is unplug the immoblizer cable (green) under the steering column to make it go away. That is if your immoblizer is disabled. Naturally, if you want to turn it back on, you'll have to plug it back in.

Seriously, I am a bit distracted with the dyno shop and I just had to ban a long time member because of advertising behind our back.

Good call, I was thinking about trying that or just pull the bulb from the gauge cluster.

That was not the exact reason, but it is kind of funny.
