This might be the last interior upgrade for my RSX. Saw some carbon fiber wheels on other cars and decided to see if I could get one for the rsx and s2000 (both share the same steering wheel base)

ZenCarbonfiber said they could get it done so I opted for them. No core charge or core required.

For the rsx I chose standard carbon fiber, s2000 got forged carbon. Both with black perforated leather, black stitching. They had other options for leather, stitching, shape of the wheel, and center marker.

Took about 12 weeks to receive the order. Outside of one small blemish on the rsx wheel I was very impressed with both wheels. Had excess epoxy in a section of the leather, got most of it off the surface with rubbing alcohol, but there's some under the leather which might come out over time.

Wheel is noticeably thicker, carbon fiber has no seams around the rim and, fit seems perfect. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Haha. I don't mind.

But yeah, I think your way makes sense. For me (and for this guy...I think), I'm after more of a DD-capable, weekend fun kind of build. If I was doing gauges, I'd put them on the pillar. Very typical spot, but for good reason. You can monitor them while keeping eyes on the road. This guy has both blocked off his cupholder and mounted the gauges so far out of eyesight to where he would need to take his eyes off the road to be able to take a look at them.
the gauges are for oil, don't need to stare at them while driving, I don't have a turbo setup and don't plan on a turbo setup and I don't like pillar gauges. I still have a center cupholder and if I need to I can mount my modifry cupholder like I had in my turbo civic or s2000. For the S it rests on the support beam, and held by 2 screws. Holds cups perfectly and doesn't block much. It was pretty much in the same spot when I had the civic, keeps cups out of the way, never have a chance of them spilling on the center console and they hold any sized drink.

It folds up as well and no one can tell it's aftermarket unless I mention it.
