Quick question I don't know if it's been answered B4 and I don't feel like doing a search for it cus I gotta go to work. But dose anyone know at what RPM the ITR cams stop making power at, I was plaining on getting the TODA Valve Springs , and ITR cams and push the cams as high as I could, just making sure I'm not gonna waste any money on the ITR cams :dontknow:

Look on the hondata site at their dyno's for the type R.

The typr R reflash puts the rev limit at 8800.

Why not go with S2000 valve springs? They are so much cheaper and are good for 9000rpm all day. My friend just had her cams and valve springs installed. 60 bucks for all 16 valve springs ;)

Anyway, I think with the type r cams and manifold your power will peak around 8200rpm, maybe a little higher, maybe a little lower. :dontknow: Even after your power peak, you'll still be making plenty of power, this is assuming your getting Hondata.

Apexi is right the F20C springs work well in the K20A2. They will spin 9000K all day. I would not trust them on anything stronger than a ITR cam though.

You can get them on www.hondaautomotiveparts.com for around $95 a set.

Wish I could. I can't even afford my next mod right now! (K-Pro) but I guess the valve springs should come first.

theres my most recent graph.

ITR cams, ITR intake mani, CAI, spoon 2 peice header, vibrant catback, hondata ITR flash. VS spoon drop in filter spoon header, and vibrant catback. both runs were the median run. ALL numbers are SAE corrected
Nice.. too bad I can't run the catless setup around here, otherwize I would have gone with the Toda header myself for that extra HP gain. I've noticed my car feeling a bit less powerful lately; then I went and checked my oil and I'm running really low on oil :nervous: no oil in the engine = teh BAD!! Every since I added the race header, I've been spending a lot of time in Vtec which I hear consumes oil.

The ITR cams and the TypeR reflash have made some sick gains to the butt dyno. I didn't have the s2k springs put in, they came to late. When the intake manifold comes in, however, I'll have them done. As far as the power band? It feels real strong from about five thousand and up. I've got to learn how to ease into the throttle to keep from spinning the tread. It's more than I expected. Very nice return for the money spent on the parts. I hope you love the updgrade as much as I have. Even now, I'm having a hard time wiping the grin from my face.

On a side note, I felt that after the ecu reflash and the new cams, my car was no longer a TypeS. So I removed the S badge to clean up the back of the car. I know I probably lost about 30 horses as a result. But it doesn't feel the same as when I bought it.
