yes i am...i have been running this new belt(7rib poly-v!!)w/out issues...i hold the title i'm sure for broken belts...i have had this kit in the car for 9 months now, and i can tell you my belt problems are gone for now. oh and i have said this before...have a spare in the car w/the(special!!!) allen and a 12mm wrench in the car just in case...don't lose half of a sat. like i did before...

12mm only(no 13mm needed)...the allen is cut down by jackson, so you can clear the engine mount...
the goodyear is not as wide as the gates brand that was supplied...so the rubbing by the idlers is not a issue...the slack on the 4070775 is very loose but it tightens up just fine...the stang boys run these belts on their v-8's w/out issue...it is a god sent to us blower boys...really nice...

ALL Eaton blowers are a step-up from just a few years ago...using the latest rooter groups as well as new and improved internals...so that would be a very general statement.

one thing is if the belt is over tightend then it will come apart fast...the break in is very important...so that it is done stretching...so, install it, tighten it, dont start it, crank the motor by hand(i got this right from Oscar J. himself), i do it a least three times, then start the car, run 1 min. check it again...and then i run it 3-5 min @ idle, then drive around normal for a 1/2 hour or so...then again i check it again...remember a tight rubber band will break...and to loose of one will stretch! to get a idea as to how tight it should be check a buddies stock one for comparison or go pop the hood at the local dealer! oh and dont buy the bloody gates it is POS IMA.
just figure it will take a few hundred miles to seat correctly as well as stop the stretching...also the better belts as far as i can tell dont need as much of the tightening as the fricking gates.

i'm not tring to slam them...are you seeing wear on the edges of the belt...and how long have you been running that belt. i see it a little diff. i have had almost 10 months and 10K miles to form my view. i also find that the slotted poly- v is made much better(just holding in your hand you will notice the diff.)and doesnt slip as bloody much as the gates did..and really isnt showing the wear like the other as well!

I had the sob so tight I was afraid it would mess up the charger...

this is not a good idea...you will not only wear out the idler pullies...but it will be bad for the whole set up/charger internals as well as your belt life will fade fast! loosen it up...

he removed the whole damn thing...and put the factory tentioner back in place of the power steering pump. i talked w/ him yesterday...he's moving in 10 diff. directions at once...said he would post the photo when able. i believe he might be trying to catch some air first and was strapping the car to a trailer today...so who knows if he will have time for a few days...
