sorry to hear that ad.ax
well JR sent me a belt and I have it on since last saturday. My conclusion for why the original belt that came with kit shred on me was because it was loose and jumped over and shredded. I just had the kit for a few days back then so I didn't know how tight is tight.
From personaly experiences with those belt, I found a way to check if the belt is tight enough and it works for me so for those who have hardtime knowing if the belt is tight or not can try this out.
Whenever I put on a new belt, before I really tighten it, I turn the pulley with my hand to make sure the belt get stretch out from every part of its length and not only by the pulley. Now it sits tight on the pulleys, do the "tighten up and idle" routine for a few minutes. Repeat that routine for a few times, gotta be patient on this issue or u gonna regret for not doing it lol. Now to make sure the belt isn't slipping is very easy, turn your AC on(yes you must turn it on during this or u won't notice the belt slipping) and give your steering wheel a full u-turn either to the left or right. Now step on the gas, don't do it lightly, give it a push. If you hear the belt making that squealing noise then stop and get out and give the tensioner bolt about half a turn. Keep doing so until you won't hear the squealing. Once you can't hear the noise anymore, the belt is definely isn't loose or over tighten either. You can do u-turn routine every so often to make sure your belt isn't loose from stretching overtime. It's the easiest way to tell if a belt is loose IMO.
