so guys is it safe to say that I'd be happier with a cybernation's stage 1 and wont be having as many issues as some of you are having.
I like the SC beacuse it's easier and cheaper to install and tune. But with these issues I don't know if I should take the risk.
Claudio,

You have taken rides in my car, you have seen my dyno runs, and you have seen what this kit is capable of at the track first hand. All this with ZERO Problems, and i have one of the new kits (bought after march 1) I am still running on the first belt, and I run my car very hard.

I pretty much only use my car for track, weekend fun and meets. I have over 30 1/4 mile runs and again I have had zero problems. I am sorry that all you ppl are having belt issues and i wish you the best of luck in getting these problems fixed.

For those of you thinking that going the turbo route as an answer, and that you will have zero problems, are dreaming.

I'm not saying that the JRSC is the End All Be All, but lets be real....

I am 100% satisfied with my kit and I know others that are right there with me.

I know I will be happy with the kit when it is working right. We'll see what happens. I made an appointment today with a tech to look at it and tell me what is wrong. He is awesome also so we'll see what happens. Hopefully all will be working right so I can order the 3.2" pulley and start boosting my 9 PSI! Wish me luck everyone!

Jamie Goodluck bro, I can't imagine what 9psi would be like after tuned. My poor ass still saving to get the kpro in order for me to hit 9psi.

OT: someone please educate me on this, what is the deal with the k-pro calibration for jrsc @ 9psi + the new 12ohms 550cc injectors. I"ve been reading around and couldn't find a clear answer to this.

All 550 injectors for the RSX have always been 12 ohm and are a good injector to start with.

The maps on the K-Pro are the ones that ship with the JRSC race kit.

We haven't made a map yet that could not be improved, and I cannot tune every car in the US. Ergo: K-Pro
Here you go! Straight form Hondata.

I also love mine when it is working.

Jamie, good luck bro

keep us posted on the 3,2" pulley. If all goes well, I would be very interested in this upgrade :)

I'm not saying JR is crap but after reading about that problem the girl had and they don't want to cover it 100% I got a little scared. Plus all the belt issues some people have had. Rob I know you've had zero problems, that's good man. But like you said you don't drive your car everday, I will.
Another thing that keeps changing my mind is the quarter mile times. I know the JRSC is capable of better times(just looking at the traps) but there's something that tells me that a turbo around(7-8psi) will land better times even with the traction issues. From looking on clubrsx I see greedy turbos(at 7-8psi) running low 13's and JRSC running high 13's to low 14's (at 7psi). It's all on street tires but still. I want to spend that kind of money and run 1 sec.(or more) faster than I do now. You guys get my point.

I have never had a problem with JR's tech support or with them sending me what I need free of charge. In fact I just got off the phone with Keith and he is sending me another tensioner arm because the last one stripped its hole. I love my SC for the every day drivability. Plus I can beat most cars on the highway (in my area). Thats including the porshe cayenne-S I raced last night.

OK HERE WE GO AGAIN!!!

I've been driving the car hard on local streets without a problem. Belt tension is firm and tight. I even checked the belt before I left the house. This is the first time getting back on the freeway after I threw my belt about 2 weeks ago.

I was getting on the freeway on ramp tonight. Going about 5,000 rpm in 3rd gear and then there was traffic so I let off the gas but didn't upshift. Then I hear my belt hitting my hood, such a familiar sound by now. I got off the next exit to find one rib is gone out of the 7 ribs. The rest of the belt jumped over to the driver side. It is still drivable and everything runs fine. The tension on my belt is still tight. No CEL/MIL light or anything. I'm going to replace the new belt and install the newly designed power steering and blower pulleys from JR tomorrow.

Question:
I never noticed this sound before but I noticed it tonight. If you're inside the car driving you can't really hear it. If the car is parked with the engine running and the hood open. I pull on the throttle cable to rev the car. It revs normally but after I let go of the cable I hear a noise. Like a raspy noise or hissing/grinding sound. Do any of you guys have this noise when you let off the gas? tt told me that he and alpha has it. Is this normal?

So I had a tech look at my car today and he came to the conclusion that my p/s pulley and blower pulley are messed up. So he took it upon himself to call Jackson(he has dealt with them before) and told them what he thought. So they are sending out a new p/s pulley, blower pulley, and belt on Tuesday. He said if this doesn't fix it then we will go from there but he thinks it will do the trick. I don't think it will, but I am willing to try so we'll see. I am putting the stock crank pulley on and trying it with that since I will be running the 3.2 inch blower pulley(9PSI), with the stock crank pulley. Is there anyone that has had problems and went to the "redesigned pulleys" and now has no problems? I doubt it, but Jackson said there were so I will take their word for it. I'll let you guys know later in the week how mine turns out. Wish me luck again.

Just fitted my 3.2" pulley from Pulley Boys, remove 1.5 mm off the back face first (to make the pulley sit closer to the engine) kept the same belt as 3.4" setup and went through the JR tensioning procedure and all is OK. I have had a few long hard pulls and the belt has not slipped or jumped and don't forget I am running K24 crank  I am going to the dyno on Thursday next week and will let you know what psi I am running (my MAP is maxed out at 9.8psi(Kpro)
