I have driven about 350 miles since jr worked on my car and the belt is still holding strong.

So what in hell did they find wrong, how did JR fix it and did they use any different parts than are in the kit?
Just saying "they fixed it" is useless :lame: info...all of us who live outside of CA may have to deal with this belt shred issue and we could benefit with more meat and less rice. Did they replace everyones' idler pulleys with metal ones? Or what?

alpha has contributed more to this board than 95% of the people on it... his experiences have helped countless JRSC installs go smoother (including mine)... so shut your face and get lost... NOOB :firemad:

Not everyone have server problems like myself and alphassmale. It seems there are slight variations in the RSX from car to car. Only a few millimeters but enough to cause a problem. Our cars had to be customed aligned thanks to JR  free of charge

Most JRSC owners don't have this problem so it's not needed.

Keith and Mark had some very good idea to strenghten and improve the old system. However they have to present it to the rest of JR to be approved. Everything comes down to how much money they're willing to pay in order to keep their current customers and acquire new ones.

they really need to make a stronger tensioner system. The hole on one of my brackets isn't strip right now but im sure it's waiting to happen :(
I agree, the bracket should be made of something stronger. I stripped out the hole because of the six (? I lost count) belt changes I had to go through. I think if you dont mess around with it too much it will be fine. Otherwise be careful!

I did read alpha's post. I wasn't talking about him. I was talking about you, you post-jacker. This is a thread about JRSC belt problems not what kinda bumper Jackson has on their car.
I was looking for specific mods that anyone could try that is having a problem. It's nice that some Jackson customers are close enough to them to get their cars fixed, but what about someone in say Florida? Jackson can't fly down and rent a shop to fix their car, so having specific info would be a great help. And I'm not a NOOB. I wrenched together my first hot car in 1976, my first Integra fourteen years ago and was trained by Gates/Dayco in design, installation and troubleshooting of belt drives in 1980.
Asshat? Maybe you should change your post handle to "LAMEMAN 2000" :flame:

what??? its clear to everyone that you are an idiot... i didnt jack this thread...read it again and when you're done get lost. Btw what is a "hot car" and how do you "wrench together" a car? that sounds interesting... and i was referring to your NOOB status on this board...

I have contemplated ordering from them. But, I need bigger injectors first. Almost had some 650's but the guy sold them before I could get to them.
so which do you plan on doing? k24 crank, pulleyboys 3.2", or both (both would be some sick hp for stock internals!)? i'm still up in the air on my decision.

As soon as I get the KPRO I will get their pulley. I was running their 7psi pulley and I loved it. worked perfect!

Do you think 650's are big enough for 9psi?

I thought too many people were having problems running the K24 crank pulley. I thought it pushed the belt too close to the oil line. Is this true?

It's not recommended to fuck with the crank pulley because it's hard for you to examine the alignment of the belt since that part of the car is so low down there. Blower pulley would be best because at least you can visually see how it aligns.
