I know a lot of us JRSC guys having or had problems with our belts and pulleys and a lot of time we hijacking other threads because of it, so I thought it was a good idea to start up on a thread just about jrsc belts and pulleys. The thread is not only for current jrsc peeps but also for the newbies as well so they won't get us frustrated asking the same question over and over again.

I'll start off with one question, I read around and found a member who is using a goodyear 070775 belt which is 7 rib and 77.5 inches long. I tried a dayco belt that was 77.5 long and it wasn't even anywhere close to fitting onto the 3.4 pulley. The dayco 78.9 belt fit extremely well for the purpose. What I want to know is that anyone else tried the goodyear 77.5 long on a 3.4 pulley or is it because different makers make belt a little bit different in length.

that's why I said that was a lie hearing you said you would retired hahaaha, but really I'm retiring for real this time, I'm selling my car for about 20.5k with everything on it.

$20.5K for a JRSC Type S 9.9psi with all your other mods is a steal, good luck bro

Sorry to hear TT, but on to bigger and better things. What do you plan on getting next?

Ouch... my colleague had one of those for a year or two, an automatic SportCross. He liked the Lexus feel, but became so bored with its anemic, emasculated performance that he sold it and got a Mini Cooper S. Now he's smiling again and saving pennies to get the John Cooper Works package.

a few questions for all you JRSC guru

I want to bypass the power steering pump, I haven't done it yet but from look it at it, I think it's possible. I only Chris is running his car without the p/s but I dont' know who else done this. If it's possible to do this using the same tensioner unit from JR, how long would the belt be? I know someone posted the length for bypassing the p/s long time ago but it's a pain to look for it again so someone plz help me out here, thanks.

Anyone slap on the JR Supercharged badge that came with the kit on their car? I didn't want to put it on but some idiot thought it would be funny to debadge my car for me while I was inside a restaurant eating. They took the rear circle "A" cura badge and I was left with two empty holes.

My temporary holes cover until it gets jack again or i get a new A

It's a piece of adhesive plastic with chrome lettering, not a sticker.

I just don't want to get rev at or get my ass handed to me and have them think they've beaten a Type S JRSC while they only beat a base

I actually thought about putting mine on in the place of the "S" on the far right side, but it would mean moving "Type" over a little to the left so it would fit. So, I've decided not to.
