Hey guys, here are some pics of the Mister Jung HID's and the blackout DIY lights i did for Randeezle, AKA, Randy. We started out the day only planning on doing the DIY. I have done my own headlights, and Randy wanted me to do his. Do we started at about 10:00am this morning, and finished at about 5:00PM. Not bad for painting and also installing the HID's. We had just about finished up with the DIY lights and started to mount the headlight asemblies to the car, when Randy's brother called and said his HID's are there. So I drove Randy to his place and picked them up. And we installed the HID's, it was a snap and very clean. Here are the pics in order from start to finish. Enjoy. Oh yeah, we also did his red out tail lights, those came out pretty clean too!

Yeah, they are. Randy had ordered the 7000K, but the packing slip said they were 6000K. Randy was still pleased with the outcome.

No problems at all. They look great. With all the urban myths floating around this forum about the HIDs, I thought we'd run into all kinds of problems.

Tip: Dont Believe The Hype.
They Hook up so easily and look so great.

Hey Randy, you didnt get any condensation did ya? I know it had a good seal on the lens, but i just want to make sure.

pics are off, i have an older Sony Mavica digicam, not the best pics.

i have no condensation, but my car is always garaged so we'll see for sure tonight after work (11:30pm).

Quang:
When you first turn the lights on, it looks blue and then slowly turns white with a little bit of several colors. It depends on what angle you look at it. When Jay was done installing it, we were admiring the finished work, and you could see several colors.

While Driving the light looks white with a little green in it. My friends were like "it looks blue to me". Overall, Im extremely pleased withe the end result. Jay did an awesome job with my headlights.

Damn, id be kinda pissed if I got 6k when I ordered 7k.

nah, I checked my paypal details... It seems that the blame lies on ol' Randy. I guess I goofed when I ordered the kit, cause I checked it and sure enough it says 6000K.

MisterJung had nothing to do with the "screwup".

We need a better camera all together. No matter what, the pictures arent gonna capture what it looks like in person.(unless I go out and spend a grand on a super-digicam)

Its looking alot bluer(?) than It did when we did the install. I love it! On Friday I did a cheesy drive by at the theatre. It was almost dark, and everyone was crowded by the enterance to go see Daredevil. I roll by with my lights off (they'd been off) and as I almost cross the front, BAM i hit my lights and hella people look at my car.

Ya, I know... I know.... Cheese! But I'd been wanting to do something like that for a while ever since I was in my Hyundai

BTW: Some stupid broad hit my elantra yesterday! Did I mention it was parked? Score another for the ladies! Thats 3 now...

Hey thanks for the props Randy. Glad you are happy and pleased with my work. I dont know if a venture business is in the cards, but i am willing to do this on the side for other members. But i will charge since it take most of my day. I know i said i wouldnt charge friends for my labor, but now that i think of it, i should. Since i am buying the materials and stuff. Oh well.
